Urban Word Café

Urban Word Café opened in 1999 as an arts café, bistro style restaurant and performance venue with an art gallery through 2003. Urban Word Café brought together a lively scene of musicians, artists, poets and community minded individuals to South Broad Street and found innovative ways of creating an arts destination in downtown Trenton. Urban Word, LLC did the business plan, managed the start-up process and performed all day to day management of the restaurant.
